What We Do


We are a  Platform/Network  of Angolan Women's Organizations, specifically from Civil Society, Community-based Organizations, Women's Societies of Churches, Women Parliamentarians and those holding leadership positions in State Institutions, Party Women's Organizations, individuals, and other women's movements.

Legally established or in the process of legalization that promote gender equality and fight for the defense of  human rights  and  women's rights  in various areas, with a view to building a society balanced between  men  and  women  in the pursuit of greater participation of women in the different decision-making bodies of the country's public and political

PMA conducts community-based trainings to empower citizens on monitoring public policies and improving sexual and reproductive health practices

PMA delivers trainings on sexuality to promote comprehensive sexual education and healthy behaviors.

PMA led the launch of a report highlighting corporate social responsibility initiatives and community engagement in Benguela.



TRAINING AND LEGAL ASSISTANCE  TO GBV VICTIMS

PMA offers specialized training and legal support for victims of gender-based violence at its community center. 


PMA has legal personality and its Statutes were published in the Official Gazette, Series III, No. 112, of July 2, 2009; and it is registered with IPROCAC (Institute for the Promotion and Coordination of Aid to Communities) and registered with the Ministry of Justice.
