From PMA 

(Women in Action Platform)

PMA began its activities at the end of 2005 and its duration will be indefinite, with its fiscal year running from January 1st to January 31st of the following year.



On March 31, 2009, in Luanda, at the 1st National Notary Office of the district, under the licensed responsibility of David Manuel da Silva Velhas, before Anita Fernanda Cristóvão Carlos, Assistant Notary, the grantors Verônica Tchikunga Sapalo, Teresa Luís José Fernandes Quivienguele, and Carolina Assunção da Silva Miranda appeared. It was granted, in the name and on behalf of the aforementioned association, whose powers they certified in accordance with the minutes of the constituent assembly, that a non-profit association named PMA, with its headquarters in Luanda, was constituted.

VALUES & CHALLENGES


PMA adopts Values ​​that are Principles, Attitudes, and Convictions, as they are important and underpin the existence and work of the Organization. The organization clearly embraces these Values, which help it react quickly and decisively when unexpected situations arise. It works and has as its culture the fulfillment of its Values ​​and serving as a model within Society. 


The Organization practices honest, careful, participatory, and serious management of all resources, within the framework of Transparency and Honesty. It promotes community actions and institutional positions in a responsible manner, practicing Love and Humility in all its actions and domains. 


PMA also works on the basis of respect, promoting gender equality and unity among women's organizations, and within communities. In carrying out its  activities, it prioritizes Human and Institutional Development, including the Defense and  Protection of Women. All stakeholders within the institution commit to living and practicing these values, as they are truly the hallmark of the organization. These values ​​are a set of beliefs that guide the  activities and operations within the organization.
